Trip down south

We started early at 8am on Saturday

Me got some nuts to eat on the way. Guess what nuts are these?

Me also bought pau kacang just to 'isi perut' before lunch
We started training at 2.30pm - in the hot sun!!! That's why I never believe in 'fair & lovely'. No way its going to work on me! (pic courtesy of Seademon who was there to check out the gals oopss... I mean the school)
We had 2.30pm till 4.30pm, 5.00pm-6.30pm and 8.45pm-10.30pm sessions yesterday. Mak oi! Nak tercabut segala sendi-sendi.

This morning, we had breakfast at the usual place in B.B.Uda. I had Nasi Ambang. Best giler!

Right after that we needed to attend a meeting, the 1st official of between R2V members and the new HM of STF(the purpose of this trip actually). So I needed to wear someting formal - what else if not baju kurung (school, remember?) And borrowed this lovely-to-wear-and-nice-to-look-at-the-front-but-not-enough-length sandal.(due to my saskwatch)
The meeting was held at The Puteri Pacific because after that madam has another meeting with the PIBG.(nope we didn't stay for any lunch buffet :-( )
The sky looked like the building's architecture. Going up. Hopefully everything will be fine.

Sempat jenguk the ballroom where the teachers were going to have their Hari Guru celebration by PIBG. (best kan?)
The meeting started. Alhamdulillah, eventhough all of us looked serious, it went really well. Not that well, but ok as a start.

Meeting ended. We lepak at the stalls just beside the car park having ci kong. Have anyone of you heard the saying, " the creamest of the cream"?
Afternoon we had 2 more session starting from 3.00pm. During break, this is what usually the coaches do - challenging each other in free throws.

I've got a shocked of my life when I saw Block B with its new colour. Now the trees look really green beside the block.
And before I left today, the girls who played in the Nationals presented me with this ....
Well, its not really written "jurulatih" on it, but it really means a lot to me.

Thank you Dynamites!

My 1st event!

Today, they got us all to go to LCCT - no excuses.
They got us all in our red t-shirt.
And they even got a 15 people band to play some so called 'music' for the event. Well, I have to admit though I have always love the bagpipe sound.

No frills - I think the band boys got an AA cap each and maybe a free ticket too!

Anyways, it was a short and simple event. Straight to the point to celebrate AA's 50th million passenger. Tony gave a short but as usual meaningful and insipiring speech whilst Dato' Seri Azalina, as the Minister from the Tourism Ministry gave a strong message and supported us to move back to Subang. (She stressed it was her point and was not from the government's point.hehehe...)

While waiting for the VIPs, we managed to do take some pics. From the left is Pn Siti, me, Nik*i and Farhan*.Sempat tu posing....

And sempat jugaklah I tilik Nik*i's lovely ring. I just love the colours!

When routine sets in...

2 nights ago, during our usual 'weekdays' online date thru YM Voice chat;

Me: Habibi, when are you coming back?
Habibi: (raising his voice) you know habibati, we've talked about this a few times.
Me: But Habibi, I'm asking because I miss you.
Habibi: you know I can only return in Oct. Why do you keep asking?
Me: Is it wrong for me to ask? We are already into a routine thingy here, I wait for you to come online and we talk and talk and later ended our call with exchanging good night wishes. I just wish that you would answer me by telling me you've changed your plans and would like to come earlier than October.
Habibi: What's wrong with telling you not to ask again?
Me: Let me repeat myself. We are going into a routine now. People get bored easily with routine. And people take for granted when it becomes a routine. And I don't want that to happen to us. I don't want you to take for granted that I am here. Do you want me not to ask you anything and just don't care whether you are returning or not?
Habibi: I am sorry Habibati. I am not taking you for granted. If I can return earlier, let it be a surprise. I am hoping that would happen. I love you and I miss you a lot too.

I don't want to be the 'routine' couple. I will be worried if our relationship becomes a routine. Then it might become an obligation instead of love.

Aahh....and that "I love you" phrase from him. The way he says it, it just makes me love him more.

I don't need a man...

Currently, I just need this.
And this is not the only container in my freezer......

Beautiful shots.

The coming one week is going to be a busy one for me. The graph of busy-ness goes up whilst the graph of happy-ness will be slanting downwards (I know this will happen).

That's ok, I just need to motivate myself to be happy and enjoy. As a start, I went through 2 CDs and 1 DVD full of pictures of the recent basketball tourney in Kedah which I couldn't attend. Just managed to collect the discs from K.Ana.

Out of about 1000 pics, I love these the most.

I sooooo in loveeee with the shooting shirt. I got one too....hehehe..... and look at the sky and cloud...

I think this is Hajar. Yup, she can definitely jump!

Not sure who this is: either Meera or Hajar. Almost touching the board.

And I love this shot. Just perfect. I wouldn't want to miss next year's tourney.

Thanks to the Srikandis for allowing their "photographer Srikanda's" to help with the pictures.

Wow! That is what I call a great service.

On 9th June, as a regular reader of Kenny Sia's blog, I read his posting on our AA Pak Nasser Nasi Lemak review which was bad. For me it was bad enough that I couldn't stand reading it without doing anything as I am also involved indirectly with service.

The next thing I did was to forward his link to the person in-charge of our service, and later it went to her Head of the Department.

And today, as usual, clicking into his blog, this was updated by Kenny.

"Tony Fernandes Read My Blog"

Perasan lah kejap all that happened because of me....hehehe......

When I thought what happened in the morning was the worst....

Today, I started off really early. No, I'm not on shift work but due to work 'requirements' needed to be at LCCT at 5am. Unfortunately things did not turn out as we planned it to be. Not able to reveal here but it was a VERY bad experience. I felt my legs were trembling. My heart just stopped beating. All because of the unexpected incident.

After that, at 9am I had to act as if nothing happened and went on with my class as usual. Thank god the students were fun to be with.

What else could turn out bad? When I thought the rest of the day should be better, I WAS WRONG. I reached home at about 7(as usual) and noticed that my freezer door was not closed properly. Oh Noooooooo!!!!

So, this was what I was forced to have for dinner:

Fish.........and
lamb.I just bought these yesterday to last till next week. Since both are thawed and soft, I had to cook it. No choice. And I had only black pepper, garlic and salt in my 'incomplete' kitchen. Both with the same marinate, I put them in together, at the same time, in the oven - just different containers. Just too lazy to think anymore.

Tired. Frustrated. Angry.
Especially when 1 1/2 tub of my ice-cream is gone!
Sob....sob.....

I better drink that Coke to calm myself down.

Posto! Posto!

Yay! I got a parcel today. What's inside?

This!

Love it. Love it. Love it.

My anak-anak sedara

Thank god the mother knows how to use FB now......hehehe( jgn marah yek....) She put up the latest pics of her kids. I miss both of them. To meet them again, it might only be on their next holidays next year, Insya Allah. (except if somebody wants to sponsor my ticket there earlier...hint...hint)

So, here are Khadijah's and Ammar's pics yg dah dikidnap from my sist in-law's FB page:

Soooooo cuteeeeee.....
Geramnya!! Tak boleh tahan!

"Sepuluh sen satu. nak beli saya tak?"

And here is Ammar, looking so handsome. Miss kissing your chubby cheek Ammar!!!

Aren't they adorable?

Hot guys, Scuba and roast lamb? Yes! But not FuBu

George cooked his "Mama's meal" (sure anak mak lah ni)

Tobi- Wan with made his Carribean rice with minced meat and bananas (yes, that's his real name as his parents love the name Obi-Wan in Star Wars. Rice with bananas? Yucks....)

And Barry with his biceps and bar-b-que pizza. Both are yummy... Oh, he also showed some exercise moves while waiting for the pizza in the oven.

Hot Guys Who Cook. I love the show.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Completed my 3rd SCUBA class this morning.
Managed to do the 'Giant Stride' into the 10ft pool without feeling scared anymore. Not like the previous class.
A personal achievement.
Can't wait for the next class.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

An update on my 'unfinished kitchen and cabinets'.
The contractors came and measured the necessary.
Should be completed in the next 2 weeks.
Hopefully I'm free on that Saturday for the installation.
I can't wait to have roast lamb.
Can't wait to invite friends too :-)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Reading what Seademon has written here and the original article here, it scares sh*t out of me.
But then , I shouldn't be afraid of anything now coz I don't have a 'spouse' who might be a member of this FUBU group thingy who covers their track well.

It reminded me of one of my ex-colleague who approached me and asked, " Have you heard of friendship sex?" And he explained to me all about it. What was he trying to do? God knows.
After reading the article, now I know why.

Entahlah. Apa nak jadi dengan dunia ni.

Friday, June 13

Nasi daun pisang dan langit biru.

I learned a new word today - "stargazing". Was really surprise of the meaning. But that's not what I want to talk about.

Lunch time, a colleague belanja me lunch.

Sekejap ada...

Sekejap tak de.....licin tu. The food was good, as usual.

And. as I love the sky so much, I got this pic before I came up to the apartment. It was just after maghrib and the sky was so blue. Really blue. Reminded me of a trip to Wales earlier for camping.

Cantikkan warna biru langit tu? I just love it.

Dinner date with Spencer, partner and Laksa

Today, I taught a new class. A new topic. Alhamdulillah, despite of the small hiccups yesterday and this morning, everything went well.

As I was going back, managed to stop by at my favourite place to watch an aircraft landed. It was great.

Got to learn how to take pics better. Wanted to take the aircratftonly, but the tiang lampus are also in.
Then I went to One U right after work. I was hungry and craving for Laksa Johor, so I went to Laksa S'ack. Its been a while since I last went there. The place was empty.

It was really empty at 9pm.Really.Empty. I was the only customer. Since I was craving for their Laksa johor, I just didn't care.
I had dinner with Mark and his partner Spencer...hehehehe

Because they are having a BIG SALE in their shops. It starts today! This was the 1st time ever I went to their sale on the 1st day. Honestly - NOT GOOD!! I mean not good for your pocket. I burst my budget for this coming few months!

This is the look of the otak-otak served together with the Laksa.Got corak you know.....

And this was the laksa I had. Sedap giler...

Oil price goes down....

Habibi said today the price of oil went down tremendously ( an update from his company in KSA which produces oil). It is due the 5% increase in production .

If they increase in production, then the price will go lower (hopefully). But this is where I don't want it to happen. Increase in production means hardwork and more work for them. Which means more work/long hours for Habibi too.

For this, I am being selfish - I don't agree for him to do extra work. Now itself he's already doing a 6am-6pm job daily.

Give us some quality time to talk to each other, please!

Monday, June 9

Almost perfect!

This morning, the sky was really beautiful. It just took my breath away. I've always love looking at the sky and the clouds especially when driving . Do not do it without parental guidance ;-)

Hmmm.....what else happened?

Santa arrived early this year. I also got a gift from a colleague. It was definitely a surprise and it was wrapped really nice :-)

I'm loving every minute of my life. (with Habibi around it would be perfect. But there's no 'perfect life' and we all know it)

And to complete my day today, I went to the gym. Well, planned to go to the gym, unfortunately it was closed. In the end, I brisk walked from my condo to the nearest shops which was about 30mnts away. I guess that is good enough to replace the gym exercises.

Sunday, June 8

Step 3 and away....

Alhamdulillah, I managed to complete my 1st class this morning. At first I was so nervous. Things like when water gets into my mask and reached the nose, and when my ear drums feels like bursting when we did our 1st 'dive' in the pool at a depth of only 10ft made me panic. But after a while with the help of my instuctor, Major K*e, I handled it well. I'm looking forward to the next class on Wednesday. I should have done it 4 years ago.But then, things always happened for a reason. So, no regrets. Better late then never.

Next class is on Wednesday.

***********************************************

Kau genggam tanganku
Saat diriku lemah dan terjatuh kau bisikkan
dan hapuskan semua sesalku

Kau adalah darahku
Kau adalah jantungku
Kau adalah hidupku lengkapi diriku oh sayang engkau begitu
sempurna...sempurna

***********************************************

Do you know how much I MISS YOU?

Saturday, June 7

Step 2

While I was driving to mom's place in Shah Alam this morning, it just hit me that I am NOT staying in Shah Alam anymore. Until end of last year, I've always tell others that no way I am going to stay outside of Shah Alam. I guess I changed my mind.

*********************************************

To answer to somebody's question, yes, I bought this unit. I owned an apartment previously with my ex, but I've sold that off to buy this one . Alhamdulillah.

*********************************************

And tomorrow, I'm proceeding to Step 2 - I'm starting my SCUBA class tomorrow morning. I can't believe after 4 years of putting it on hold, THIS IS IT. Under water world, here I come.

*********************************************

And all these good things happened with the help from Habibi. Even though he's not here with me, his spirit and love is always around and motivate me to move on. Oh! and yes, thanks Habibi for the 'monthly petrol sponsorship'......I LOVE YOU.

p/s: To a male friend who is going to meet his gf's dad, don't be too nervous. You are a dad to a few girls, as much as you want the best for your daughters, so does your gf's dad. Just go with the flow.

Wednesday, June 4

Step 1

After 4 years, at last, I've completed the 1st step.

I've contacted THE GUY to make an appointment to meet him this Saturday.

A BIG relief because the 1st step is always the toughest.

And now, I have butterflies in my stomach to proceed to Step 2 (that is to meet him)

On another note, last Monday, all Instructors were asked to go to the new swimming pool for a photo shoot. The completed swimming pool was still empty. The pool looks HUGE. Yeah - We actually took pics in it. I'm looking forward for it completion ...soon!

Tuesday, June 3

A dream coming true - soon

Everything seems to be settling and slowing down. My home is almost ready - just waiting for the contractor to do the kitchen and pax wardrobe at the hall.)This is not good, as this would lead me missing Habibi like crazy. (earlier I do miss him but now its getting worst)

How I wish I could enjoy sometime at the beach and listen to the waves. Just close my eyes and remember the beautiful memories. But knowing myself, I can't do that as this makes me miss Habibi more ;-( So for now, my plan is, to fulfil my dream which has been put on hold for the past 4 years.

And I am going to complete it by the end of this month, Insya Allah. Must.

p/s - I could feel this is happening soon.

Monday, June 2

What I've been up to for the past few days

1) Preparing my new home. Busy moving, unpacking and arranging. At the moment, only the living room is complete and I have totally moved in!

2) Bringing the kids to Ches*ire Home in Selayang. It is part of their learning process. I just love the look on the residents there when they see us - we are like family to them :-)

3) On Sunday, my family organised a 'kenduri and makan2' session for my cousins who just got married 2 months ago. With all the good food and company, not mentioning my aunties who kept asking me what do I want to eat and they will cook it, there goes my diet program (perasan macam ada ). We had satay, otak-otak, ayam berempah, kerabu sare and bakso.

4) And today, when I arrived at office in the morning, the consultant I'm working with, who is also a LEO, wears the exact same thing like me: a white shirt and blue jeans. What a coincidence ;-)
