Island trip, friends, job, blog - That's a handful!
Will be leaving for Mersing midnight tonight, plan to eat sahur in Kluang and then take the 6.30am boat to Tioman. YES!! I'm going to the island again this weekend with Mr&Mrs Seademon and also Rina.
For me, this year's Ramadhan is a HUGE change than last year's. (so far lah up till today). I was not given a chance to be alone at all. Maybe for the 1st 2, 3 days. But after that, takde chance lansung. My boss, Fa*hana, just refused to let me go and buka puasa at home alone. Especially when I told her that twice last week, upon driving back home for buka puasa, I dozed off while driving! So from the next day onwards, she insisted that I buka puasa with her either in the office or at a nearby restaurant before allowing me to go back.
And the lovely Ayah & Ibu- SD& Jazz kept inviting for buka puasa sessions.
I guess Habibi is also happy and thankful that I don't feel lonely and sad. He's thankful to my friends for keeping me company . 34 more days to his return. I can't wait.
Meanwhile, my life at AA is getting busier each day. Other than being part of the Program Development team, my boss has also enrolled me into a "Ha*vard" certification program for Trainers which will take about 2 months to complete and it will start in the next 1 or 2 weeks time. It is an online program - knowing myself, I'm going to have a tough time completing it!
I also need to write and contribute to AirAsia's blog. (hehehe...haven't submitted anything yet). Oh, btw, I was going thru Tony's blog and found out that his next project is the Asean Basketball League! I am soooo excited!!
I guess there's a lot more for me in store. It is true - its not easy to stay positive but once you manage, one by one , things will fall in place, Insya Allah. I cold just pray that Allah gives me the strength to do all the things I love and enjoy. Amin.
Sunday, September 7
No more spending, no more shopping.
It is definitely a rest day for me. A complete rest. After returning from Mr & Mrs Seademon's big FAMILY buka puasa gathering at 3am, and slept after subuh, I only woke up at about 2pm. Call me lazy, call me whatever you want to, but I'm just treasuring the precious moment to sleep and rest before the coming few weeks.
Later in the evening, went to Scubadynamics dive shop to get the dive comp and a pair of gloves. Its kind of pricey but I know I need this for my future (soon) dives. Its definitely a long term investment. Buying this, means I got to cut off my expenses on lots of other things for future and had used up my savings too :-( Well, the good thing is the dive comp also came with a free torch;-)
From there, since it was still early, I headed to IKEA, and thank god to find a parking spot was very easy! I didn't have any specific plans for buka puasa as I had prepared myself by packing some dates and a bottle of mineral water in my bag, just incase :p Headed to the BORDER and managed to get myself some important books for work. (Ok, NO MORE shopping after this).
And I ended up in SUSHI King for buka puasa as that is the only place I find conducive to eat ALONE without people looking at me weirdly. After that, bought myself some donuts and immediately headed back home.
One thing I noticed, the donuts ain't taste the same anymore as the one I had in Ramadhan last year with some friends. Maybe they changed the recipe :-(
Monday onwards, I foresee myself to be VERY busy as I need to teach almost everyday on top of loads of paperwork need to be completed. Orientation, Communication, Announcements, Terms& Conditions and One Day Visit - those are the subjects I teach.
The positive thing about this is, time will fly very fast.
Note to self - 40 ONLY days to Habibi's return

A night in Sepang
Time: 7pm-11pm
Had a buka puasa session with my boss and my partner in crime. Why there of all places in Sepang? Well, my boss was craving to have the buffet spread while for me dates and a cup of hot milo is more than enough. And she was definitely shocked to find out the price. It was RM90 per pax!! Is just ridiculous! With RM90 I could buy lots of things with it!! No way jose.Especially when I can't eat at all:-(
So, we decided buffet for her and ala-carte for us.Hehehe...

When one kitchen closes, the other opens...
So we planned to go and have dinner in Genting. When we called up the owner to inform on our late arrival, he said he's going to close early as tomorrow is a PH. So, we got frustrated and decided to just roam around Wangsa Maju area.(Dalie was craving for steambot). So off we went. After about 20mnts, we came across and decided to try it out.

My version of a perfect trip
Saturday, August 9
From a great birthday bash to an excellent wedding dinner
It started off with dinner; excellent pasta, lamb chops and other stuffs and ended up with the floor turned to a dance floor. It was great meeting my ex-colleagues after a few years. The best part, we only meet during wedding dinners. The last time was Adam's dinner which was written here. And this time its She*au Wei's turn.
Thanks guys for a great night last night. I really, really enjoyed it. (Especially when I was the only Malay there and with tudung lak tu ;-)

Birthday celebration yang terlampau
But I had 3 birthday cakes for me!!! Never, ever, ever on any of my birthdays for the past 33 years have I ever had 3 cakes!
This cake was from my niece Dhiya Sarah.
Not only that, this time it was crazy. It was more like a 24hours celebration. Had a steamboat dinner yesterday night at Gohtong Jaya (somewhere near to Genting), and after midnight continued with karaoke and supper session till 5am. Then I had lunch and did some birthday gifts shopping for myself at One U today. Had a small session with my sister's family in the afternoon. Continued with seafood dinner at TTDI in the evening. And the crazy part...was to drive up again to Gohtong Jaya for coffee and dessert.
To Dalie & Renek, Jazz & SD (and Fazira), Normi and cousin, Rina, Komar & partner and not forgetting GemGem and Hana, thank you very much for everything. You guys are great!
It is definitely the craziest birthday ever for me!

Tarot cards and its effect
This morning, I did my tarot card reading. No. Not online on the web. A friend who owns a pack of tarot cards and knows how to do it did the reading for me. Tuesday, July 15

Nasi daun pisang dan langit biru.
Lunch time, a colleague belanja me lunch.
Sekejap tak de.....licin tu. The food was good, as usual.
And. as I love the sky so much, I got this pic before I came up to the apartment. It was just after maghrib and the sky was so blue. Really blue. Reminded me of a trip to Wales earlier for camping.
Cantikkan warna biru langit tu? I just love it.

Almost perfect!
Santa arrived early this year. I also got a gift from a colleague. It was definitely a surprise and it was wrapped really nice :-)
I'm loving every minute of my life. (with Habibi around it would be perfect. But there's no 'perfect life' and we all know it)
And to complete my day today, I went to the gym. Well, planned to go to the gym, unfortunately it was closed. In the end, I brisk walked from my condo to the nearest shops which was about 30mnts away. I guess that is good enough to replace the gym exercises.

Farewell to a a very strong person....
We then decided to go for a late dinner at a Thai restaurant in The Curve. These pics will explain the rest of activities for the night.
To Faiez, all the best in everything that you do. You did great by overcoming all your problems and I am so proud of you sist. May all your wish come true.
