He is back! They are back!

Yes! My brother is back for holidays after 2 1/2 years. He and his family is here for a good 4 weeks holidays until the 20th of Feb. And from the day they touched down until now, I only managed to steal sometime after work at midnight to see them 2 days ago and for lunch yesterday. Can't even say when we are meeting again as he is spending his time with his in laws till next week kot.

My bro holding the latest addition to the family, Khadija Tasneem (not sure of the spelling...) A very good girl. Can only hear her voice when she's hungry.Even when she is sleeping, her brother can shout and scream, and she can just continue sleeping as if nothing is happening around her (just like her auntie ....hehehe).

Meet Ammar Kareem again. This is taken when he was in a very good mood. Insist of having his pic taken with 'JAZZ' , one of his TRANSFORMERS car thingy.

And here he said, "auntie, come and take my photo please"....So this is his special pose, smiling away with his t-shirt which says 'MY FAVORITE CLASS IS LUNCH' .....(sounds like my fave class too). He is soooo adorable with the cheeky smile.

And this is his sister, sound asleep. Can't wait to see her walking, running and smiling like her brother!

And what do you get when your brother is back for only 4 weeks holidays, once in 2 -3 years time? I'll write about it in another post.

This coming 4 weeks will be very interesting and hectic for me as other than work and basketball, I definitely will reserve time to spend with him and his family.

Money can't buy happiness

Previously, I wonder how money can buy people.

Only now I know.

Even though it is just a 'backdated' portion which I earned and was entitled to

But still.....

I think it will 'keep me quiet' for a while
Not happy....
But quiet....

p/s: I hope this is not a trick. I'm just afraid they have other plans.

A teaser for the whole of 2008

Leo Horoscope 2008 brings some hurdles and obstacles for the people born under this zodiac sign in the year ahead. Improvement in scenarios can be observed during November and months after that. There are chances of Leo people buying some retail property as well as some mode of conveyance between the months of April and August. As per the horoscope 2008, some creative ideas would result in increased luck and some unexpected gains.

The Leo horoscope 2008 says that the theme for people born under this zodiac sign will be discriminated. This would lend them a helping hand in taking relevant and important decisions relating to their lives.Knowing the difference between various scenarios of life would help you in moving at a fast pace in all areas of life.

The horoscope 2008 also talks of change in career for Leo people in the coming year. In fact, if you are not happy with your job, then the year would provide you with some really good options for career change. The stars urge the Leo people to recognize their strengths and work towards polishing these strengths with all their might.

According to the Leo horoscope 2008, the people born under this sun sign are going to have a steady love relationship in the year 2008. This year also calls for more commitment in the marital relationships for the Leo people. The people who love someone but have not yet revealed their feelings to their cherished ones can boldly go ahead in announcing their love. They would surely gain success as the stars are with them as per the horoscope 2008.

After reading this, currently at the end of the 1st month of 2008, I can vouch that what is written in paragraph 1 and 2 is true and is happening. Whereby there might be a high possibility for paragraph 3 & 4 related matters to happen in the near future. I don't know. But what I know is, I have feelings. I just need to polish on my '6th' sense.

I am hoping for the best to happen.

p/s: My roller coaster has yet to stop its 'ride'. I am still stuck in the seat and trying my very best to adjust to it. I don't know how long I can hold on to it.

Am I normal?

Last Saturday, after finishing work at about 6.45am, I left for Puduraya to catch the bus to JB. The bus was at 7.30am,so I was supposed to have had ample time. Upon leaving the office, I had contemplated whether to take the cab direct from my office in Bangs*r or take the LRT to CM and later walk to Puduraya.

LRT was only RM1 - and since I have about 40mnts to spare, I know it was more than enough. Unfortunately, the train arrived only at about 7.05am. And by 7.10am I was already at the CM station. The worst part was, I forgot that I was using my sling travelling bag instead of the usual back pack. Oh god! The walking from CM LRT station to Puduraya was really bad. It felt ages to reach and my shoulder hurts terribly. And with 20mnts left, I need to reach there before 7.30am.

That was when I thought about my life now. It just came to my mind. What was I doing, walking from CM LRT station to Puduraya bus station, on a Saturday morning, right after work, carrying a very heavy bag when I didn't even have any sleep at all, yet.
Is there any of my batch mate or friends out there, who actually owns a car/own transport, would be crazy to do this like me? Take the LRT, miss their beauty sleep, sacrifice their Saturday and Sunday just to do this?

And this has been the 3rd year I'm doing all this. I don't know. I'm not complaining but I am just wondering if there is something wrong with me, to sacrifice my time, my sleep, my life for the girls?
Alhamdulillah, currently I am still strong to do all these. Insya Allah, I will continue doing it as long as I am healthy and 'permitted' to do so. Maybe it is for a good cause, that is why HE has given me the health, energy and motivation to do so. Maybe.

p/s: even had to sacrifice my comfy bed with the 'squeaking' metal ones and annoucement being made every 10mnts or so.

I wish I am still 18

I really, really, really wish I was 15 years younger. I have never actually felt like this before, or wish something like this. But last Saturday, I wish I am still 18.

WHY? Well, my girls was trained by the Singapore National Basketball Women's team coach for 1 day. Yes!! You read it right! The Singapore National coach! Arrghhh!! Why now only I get the chance to meet this guy? I felt sooooo jealous. First, they are already training under Mr Liew, who was in-charged of the Malaysian team. And now, they had the opportunity to train under another great coach.

The worst part is - Mr Loh, the coach, said he still remembers me the last time he saw me playing 15 years ago. I feel so honored, so lucky to meet him now. But a part of me is sad, thinking why now only I get the chance to meet him.

Well, I guess that at least, now, I am still lucky that I have the chance to meet this great people, great coaches, sit down and have a chat with them. That reminds me, 2 years ago, I had the chance to meet Mr Tan S*e Wah, the current Malaysian Women's basketball team coach. I still have his number and I'm always welcome to go and watch them train.
I am lucky....I know. The above pics are my great coaches now - Mr Liew, Mr Loh and Mr Seah (who is already 70++ and still playing for Malaysian veteran!)

It's just that...I still wish that I was 15 years younger and fitter. If I had known these great coaches earlier, maybe, maybe I have played for Malaysia.....(hehehe...berangan jap).

And thanks to Sir, I have this chance now to personally shake the hands of this great coaches.

And last Saturday's experience - made me totally forgot the problems that I'm having at work. Not totally, but most of it. Alhamdulillah.

If I was a superhero, I would be....

What Superhero Are You?

You are "Rogue" !

You are the romantic, who can kick some serious ass! You are afraid of intimacy, due to your fragile heart. Also any time you touch someone, you suck the life force out of them. But, yeah, that fragile heart thing. However, you want nothing more than a soul mate, but you disguise this longing with a chilly demeanor. But fear not, one day you'll find someone who can handle your true power!

p/s: I guess I have found the person!

I love shoes

Majority of us, women, love shoes. Yes, we tend to get carried away buying shoes. Different colour for different dress or attire. Different comfortability for different functions. Different height (for the heels) for different guys that we need to meet (kan Jazz?) All sorts of excuses to get a new pair of shoes, each time.

That includes me. I love shoes too. How hard I try to deny that I am different from the other women, I still fall in the same category - women who love shoes. Maybe for others, they would want to get beautiful, nice shoes/sandals/pumps/flats for their wardrobe match. But not for me. My priority will always be for the comfortability of my feet. As I have written here, I have a 'sasquatch' kind of feet. Its not easy to get ladies shoes which is really comfy.

So, my collection of shoes are these kind:

And I just added a new pair to the collection last week. The really comfy Nike Free 7.0

The timberland was from my brother, the adidas basketball was a gift from my singapore cousins, the other adidas was from the factory outlet store, the LeBron basketball shoes was from a clearance sale in JB and the last pair I got it from Poh Chy*'s shop at a very special price. There are 2 more pairs of basketball and sport shoes which were in my car at the time of taking these pics.
I know I am crazy.
Argghh.....I better not buy any more sports shoes this year.

Save me, please!!

Hmm....I don't think I want to commit suicide if this is true.

Macam-macam ada

Dah lama aku tak beli surat khabar melayu, rasanya dah dekat 2 tahun kot. Hari ni saje gatal tangan.
Bila nak bayar, mak ooii....RM2? Mahalnya. Baik aku beli The Star aje.

**********************************************

Malam tadi , gi rumah Mimeen lagi. Minah tu stress pasal apa tah, jadi dia nak masak and seperti biasa, to have a b*tch*ng session.
Macamana la nak kurus ni kalau dia asyik hidang beef stew yang sedap dan lemak, spaghetti bolognaise yang power dan cheese yang dicicah dengan biskut.
Tak cukup dengan tu, sia beli donut dari J.Co.
Ish...ish....ish...

Stew yang lemak dan power.

Mimeen and her adorable hero.
Inilah model stew kite....
**********************************************

Aku memang stress giler pasal kerja sekarang.
Apa jadi kalau seseorang tu tak berjaya mendapat apa2 jawatan?
Aku terjumpa cili kecut ni kat rumah Mimeen. hehehe...

Inilah hasil dari perjumpaan mak datin2 malam tadi di rumah Mimeen.

Amacam? Cun tak model2 tudung mawi kite ni? Siap demo macamana nak pakai...

They made me laugh! Pt 2

I'm supposed to go to sleep and 'accidently' turned to 8TV which is showing American Idol.

Now, I'm starting to laugh again watching the participants!
How am I supposed to go to sleep like this? And I'm working morning tomorrow.

Argghhh.....

But anyways, I'm enjoying the show.

They made me laugh!

OMG!! Afdlin and gang - they make me laughed watching the show 'Actorlympics TV'. Sakit rahang dibuat nya.

Jazz -kirim salam kat your neighbour yang kelakar tu, ok!

My style of cooking

When I'm hungry and craving for certain food, to add that up I'm working morning this week - which means that I won't be eating dinner outside at all, this was what I prepared;
Enorki mushroom - just topped with salt and pepper and microwaved it.

Felt like eating chicken wings - marinated 'em with maggie seasoning, pepper and honey and wrapped in aluminium foil.

And baked it in the oven. Hmm..maybe next time I should add some soy sauce to it for colour. The taste is good despite of the pale look.

Tuesday, January 15

Good quality and cheap-what is the trick?

The last time I went to this 'supermarket', I bought a few packets of mushroom which the price was reduced to be cleared due to some minor damages on the packaging.

Well, today I went there to do some groceries shopping for myself and my office, I found these:

Yes! They were on the counter for only RM1.92 per packet. What's the trick? It is expiring tomorrow. Yup! Tomorrow . I am planning to have this for dinner to spice up my usual Mee Sedaap menu and the other packet for breakfast and lunch. I am a sausage lover. It is easy to prepare and easy to eat.

I love this supermarket because of this. I learnt to do this when I was with my brother in the UK. I mean why not? It has not expired yet, another day or a few more days left. And I stay alone - I don't stock up food items except for instant noodles. Sometimes, I could also get the Nestle Bliss Yogurt for only RM0.92 when its expiring in a few more days. Yummy. The other day, I got a packet of Mozzarella cheese at only RM8.00. Cheap huh?

And just because you are in the UK you try to minimise your expenditure by going for those products on 'Reduced to Clear' counter and doesn't care what others would say, why not here in Malaysia, in our own country?

8 random facts about ME ;-)

I was tagged by Ardy a few days ago on '8 Random Facts About Myself'. I was too busy to think and to write about it( lame excuse, I know)....or maybe I was just too lazy to think what are the random things about me.

But here goes:

1) I love basketball, love to watch basketball games and I'm also a part time basketball coach. However, I only watch live games. Yes, the real games. I don't watch it on ASTRO or any TV channels. And I don't read news about it too. Its all just 'live' games and action on the court.

2) I don't window shop. When I say "Let's go window shopping" it means that let's go for a walk at the shopping complex and find good food please. If I go shopping with my friends, I will never buy anything. I will only buy if I shop ALONE. All alone. And that is dangerous.

3) I can sleep/fall asleep anywhere, anytime. The moment I feel my neck is 'soft', I know I'm sleepy and its dangerous to drive especially. Be it in the office, on the bus, watching TV, while reading, in the LRT whicle standing (I did this, ok!), and even when driving (of course there was the accident then). Dangerous at times. I know.

4) I can sew. Yes! I have cut and sewn my own baju kurung, my home curtains, cushion covers for my brother and sister's wedding (the one with zipper). It's just that its not my kind of thing. I wanted to 'show' my family that I can do it, IF I WANT. Hehehe...

5) I only like to cook/make/bake the food that I love. The list includes lamb chop, chicken rice, potato salad, oreo cheesecake, chocolate cake, baked macaroni and a few more.

6) Other than travelling to other places, I love staying at home and just watch TV, talk, sleep if I'm not working. I could stay in my apartment for 48 hours without going out.

7) I'm not too adventurous in trying new kind of food. If at a restaurant a specific dish is really good, I would order the same thing everytime I go there.

8) From school till now, I'm used to be on my own, alone. I can eat lunch at work or a restaurant alone, I can go to the park alone, watch movie at the cinemas....etc. I just can be on my own. I don't really care if people don't want to join me.

That's it. I think, most of my blog friends have been tagged. Can't find the other 8 to tag.

What happened when old friends meet?

Going down to JB, is not only about coaching the girls.Well, yes, we must definitely do our job seriously, but we must also NOT forget to have fun.

Other than I got to stay in a nice room, me and esty (partner in crime going for good food) received a special appearance by Jazz... Coincidently, she arrived on Saturday evening just for the 'ikan bakar'. hehehe....

Here, you could see her , she was our 'food model'. She ordered the ice jelly something and was showing us how to 'eat' it.

Me and fikah ordered the famous ais kacang while esty ordered her usual ais kacang 'with only kacang'. Even without the rest of the ingredients - it is still good. Trust me.Each costs RM3.

Jazz was craving for this too. The 'char-kuey' with sambal sauce. Crunchy, spicy and nice. I think the dish was about RM4 - for 3 person.

Then, as for myself, I was craving for this 'siput sedut' with sambal. Some people would ask why. Hmm...just imagine this dish, is like the Fatty crab's spicy crab. Its something different and really nice. We wanted to suggest they should also served roti bakar to eat with the gravy. The siput costs RM8 only.

Fikah ordered this sotong kangkung. This was bit...out. The sauce was not as good as expected. It was different, taste more like chilli sauce mixed with something. This dish was RM8 (I think so)

Yeah! and this was craved by our mama Jazz again. All the way from KL to because of this. Superb dish! The fish was quite big - I think it was RM22. If its only for 2 person, or half the fish, usually its around RM8-12.

And you could see, all the different dishes. The 'chic' opposite was trying to suck the siput...hehehe.... Notice her big bracelet?
Tried to take her photo, but I guess she wasn't ready as she was trying to chew and swallow some food.

This is the skinny fikah. I think she was surprised on how much we could eat.

I was trying to take Jazz's pic using her cam and she shot my pic using my cam. We were really crazy.
Me and esty.Trying to control our smile as we were still waiting for our nasi goreng ayam. Yes, both of us were really hungry, we ordered nasi goreng ayam first unfortunately it came last.

Just now you saw it, now you don't. We managed to finish up all the food. Yes, only the 4 of us with that much food. Not forgetting a bowl of ais kacang. Licin beb....
Other than that, esty said that next time, we don't need oysters anymore. The siput would do as towards the end of the meal, I was starting to talk nonsense about.......

Its definitely not the normal seafood restaurant but it serves good food and value for money.

And its a nice place to lepak, release stress and catch up with friends.

And also to put on weight...hehehe....

Back to SKUL

Yes!!! This is the newy renovated room, which was a warden's room few years back, where I stayed last night. Usually, my trip to the school to coach the girls, would see me end up everywhere, sometimes sick bay, sometimes in of the empty dorms.

This time, they gave me this room. It seems that they said its going to be now onwards. Hmmm....I have to wait and see. I can't be too excited as they might just change their minds anytime and throw me somewhere - which it doesn't really matter to me as long as I have a bed to sleep and a few girls to accompany me from being disturb by 'others'.

And , did I mention they have a washing machine too inside there?..hehehe..

Busy,busy, busy

I've been busy.....
Yes, busy eating. Today was a PH, not that I was given a holiday, but my sister and her family came back from their Amsterdam hols, and my mom wanted to invite my cousin who is going to get married this February. Well, actually, my family plays a big role in making the wedding thing happen. So he was supposed to come over and discussed some things.

And because of all this - mom decided to cook. So, I had breakfast and lunch there. And also tapau some for dinner at work.

The tulang - looked like a femur?..hehehe boleh pakai straw.
Not everybody can eat this. But us from Pantai Timur will eat every part of the cow. This was from the qurban earlier - parts of the 'kaki lembu' made into a simple soup dish. I love this.

This is called 'solok lada' Its made from coconut mixed with minced fish and some herbs. Mom's bibik has been taught how to do this.

And this was what I had for lunch and dinner. The authentic mom's nasi kerabu biru. I had 2 servings at home and as I said, tapau for dinner.

And this Saturday I will be having more good food in JB. Yeah....

p/s: I was looking forward to loads of chocs brought back by my sist, unfortunately they arrived after the boxing day and xmas holidays. Most chocolate has ran out....;-(

A step into the zone

Previously, I was lost. Now, one of my foot is already stepping into the zone, the one which I have been waiting for. I feel relieved, happy, lucky and excited to what is in store after all the stress I've gone through the past few days. There is a lot more of walking to do. A lot more travelling. Therefore, I need to put on the most comfy shoes I have and walk one step at a time.

Yes! I am ready for this.

Bring it on babeh!

Breast cancer vs Cysts/Fibroids

Recently, I was informed that a friend's friend had went for a surgery. It was because she had cysts and fibroids in her ovaries. Well, when she mentioned about that, I've got cysts - endometriosis to be exact and that explains the monthly pain. My sister was also informed after her daughter's C-section last year, she also has loads fibroids. What's the big deal - the doctors who informed both of us didn't even say that its as bad as cancer other than giving us our monthly pain and we might have problem conceiving. (well, my sister proved that its wrong).

But I found out, because of the cysts/fibroids that her friend has, the doctor had to remove both ovaries and fallopian tube. Ok, wait. That's not that bad right if the person is already 45 years old and she already has 3 to 5 kids. But this is the thing - the doctor not only remove her ovaries but also 'shut down' her vagina. Yes you read it right. And she was not informed at all about this. What she knew was her ovaries and fallopian tube will be removed but not until a total shut down. You can refer to the drawings here.

I was really shocked to hear about it. I know all this while the breast cancer is the worst thing that could happen to women - hey, but at least when you lose your breast, you still have your 'down there' . But in this case, it is even worst.

Well, the cysts/fibroid problems is different from the ovarian cancer. However, it is still related to our precious ovaries - whether we are married or not. I came across this article in this month's SHAPE.

The 4 Symptoms you should never ignore

-because there are neither telltale symptoms nor a simple screening test, ovarian cancer is often called the "silent killer", as it takes the lives of 15,000 women in the U.S. each year. But for the first time, cancer experts have identified 4 early-stage signs of the disease: bloating, abdominal pain, feeling full quickly, and an urgent and sudden need to urinate. If you have one or more of these daily for more than 2 weeks, see your gynecologist, who can perform a pelvic exam and run a blood test.

So ladies out there - have you booked your gynae for your pap smear test?

At 2am alone, this is what I do

Here I am, at 2am, still not sleepy. I know, I'm thinking too much, stressing myself waiting for morning to arrive. Or to be exact, the office hours to start. I can only wait and pray for the best now.

***********************************************

Habibi apologised for what had happened. He also said there will definitely be ups and downs in our relationship for the whole year, but whatever it is, he is sticking around. He prays that insya Allah, both of us would be able to go through all the challenges that is in store for us this year.
How can I be upset with this guy?

***********************************************

Yesterday, I visited an 'old' friend.
Well, she still look like 25 years old ;-)

I've no more weekends!!

Last night, I listed down my plan for 2008. As usual, I will be working on most weekdays but the plan for the weekends for the 1st 3 months, which included yesterday and today are:

January
5 & 6 - Working
12 & 13 - Coaching in JB
19 & 20 - Working
26 & 27 - Coaching in JB

February
2 & 3 - Either one day or both working
9 & 10 - CNY hols, going back to Besut for my cousin's wedding
16 & 17 - Coaching in JB
23 & 24 - Working

March
1 & 2 - Jakarta trip
8 & 9 - Coaching in JB
15 & 16 - No plans yet
22 & 23 - Coaching in JB
29 & 30 - No plans yet-high possibility coaching

Looking at it, I will be occupied on all weekends until end of March .And I am sooooo looking forward to my first Jakarta trip and Habibi's business trip again sometime April. With this schedule, it would not allow me to be free and definitely make the time flies really fast. I hope so.

I hope I have the energy to complete all the above without falling sick, insya Allah. And this schedule also confirms that I do not have the extra time to do the scuba dive thingy. Not yet. If I want to do it, it might be during weekdays as I don't have free weekends , most probably until June (that's when the tourney ends).

Most of my weekends will be spent on coaching the girls until the tourney ends. We need to win again this year. There is no if's and no but's . MUST. And looking at their performance end of last year, we got to do a lot of work.

So, in advance, to all my friends out there, sorry guys if I can't make it to any of the meets if it is held on a weekend. Unless something really BIG...yup, I mean BIG to happen. Then there will be a slight change of plan in my schedule to accomodate this.

Interesting start of a new year huh?

Saturday, January 5

Minister,Oil, PMS and the crazy gang

The latest 'hot' news about one of the Minister is really shocking to all of us, I guess. I personally think he is a nice man, no controversial issues whatsoever but unfortunately, like a friend who is a great writer, wrote in his blog - wrong place, wrong time....kantoi.

That never fails to remind me, especially us being a muslim, we have our religion as our guide and to avoid us from doing the 'wrong' things. As long as we stick to it, insya Allah it will be ok. Tawakkal to Allah.

******************************************

Going through The Star this morning, the front page was all about the 5kg limit to purchase cooking oil.
I'm lucky that I don't use oil to cook currently. All baked or microwaved.
And that reminds me that I have not bought the cooking gas yet. How long has it been? I forgot actually.

******************************************

Somebody asked me: " Why are you doing this? Are you having PMS?
Me: " No, I don't have PMS but I have feelings."

******************************************

Last night , had supper again with the office gang. Coincidently, 4 out of 5 of us were wearing red. And these are the crazy pics by the 'kids'.

At last, some crazy people managed to cheer up my day!

p/s: Dang! It's soooo obvious that I'm stressed up. I have pimples!! Argghhh!!

Friday, January 4

Can somebody at least cheer me up?

And for what had happened, I really wanted to tell Habibi what I've gone through....

His reply really hurt my feelings.

Anger lead to crazy doings- Finale

....I'm actually bad with the roads in KL. I only know how to go to certain places using the same route and I'm not into 'exploring' which road is the shortcut...etc...
So, without having the time to worry how to go there, I just drove straight from Bank Am to Bank M's HQ next. ALl I could say, Alhamdulillah, the traffic was really clear for a work day. I managed to arrive there within 10mnts. I just ad some issues with the parking lot outside the tower.

With the same report, I went to this bank, and met the nice gentleman at the counter. I showed him the report and told him the same explanation. He made a call. It was to the recovery/fraud unit or something like that. He passed me the phone as I had to speak personally. I can't remember the girl's name. Told her my intention to get my name cleared and the letter too. I guess, even though they are in different banks, they might be trained the same procedure. Her reply was, "We will send you the letter to your mailing address". No way jose. I told her, since I was already at the HQ, I will just wait downstairs for them to prepare the letter and send it down. This time, the issue was not to prepare the letter, but about sending it to me. They insist of posting it to me when I was already there, in their building! I didn't scold the girl, just being stern, but I guess she could not handle me, she passed my call to her officer.

The best part is, when she wanted to brief her 'officer' she didn't even put me on mute or on hold! I could hear her say ," Ni ha..ada customer membebel nak release letter. Dalam record kite dah hantar tapi dia cakap tak dapat. Dia tak nak kite pos. Nak letter tu sekrang jugak. Leceh. Nak cakap dengan officer bla..bla....." I was really, really angry. But I know, if I were to make a show out of it, I might not be able to get my letter yesterday itself.
When I spoke to the so-called officer, it was worst. She was not helpful at all. She mentioned again that they have sent the letter in Sept 2006. I said I didn't get it. When she mentioned the address was to my old office, I said I've resigned from there, she was asking when did I resign. She was not even solving the issue at all. She was trying to avoid issuing me the letter too. I toldher about the report, she sounded like she didn't believe me, so I told her to speak to the officer in front of me.

Thank god the guy was cool. He told her that he has the original report and he would fax the copy to her. He also told her that I will write a letter to her to issue the release letter. And he instructed her to prepare the letter as I will be collecting the letter myself in the next 20mnts or so. I defnitely agree with what he had done. At least that part is settle.

The department which issues the letter, is in Bangunan E - near to the Masjid Jamek LRT station. He gave me instruction on how to go there - by foot! So again, as I was really angry and wanted to settle this once and for all, walked from the Tower to the other building, on heels with my heavy laptop bag. Arrgghh.....

I got blisters on my feet , but that's ok as I managed to settle everything in a day - and I didn't have to take leave! Yay!

But my experiences with both banks were really bad. Especially when you have listed people's names in the report -you need to get it cleared fast. No excuses especially its been more than a year. And to add to that, I didn't want all these things to happen and I didn't expect this to happen. And here I am, trying to clear the mess.

Going through the experience again while driving back to office , I was amazed on how I could drive from one part to the other part of the city without worrying or thinking in detail. It was just a reflect. And yes, thank god I don't own a gun.

Anger lead to crazy doings -Pt 2

...so there I was at about 10am, at the counter of Bank Am waiting for my number to be called. It wasn't a long wait, then it was my turn. Well, there was only 2 other customers and there were 5 counters - so, I figure, it must be fast.

At the counter, I showed her the report and I told her that my cc account has been settled and close for more than a year ago, why does it appear on the report. I also specifically told her that I need my name to be clear from there asap and I need the release letter. She took my ic and checked in her system. Then, confidently she said, "Oh, your name is not in our system anymore. Both, your old ic and new ic is showing the same results - no records". Then I told her that I just got a statement yesterday from the bank, its just that I didn't bring it as I didn't even think that by getting the statement and have confirmed with their call centre that the account has been closed; that I would be listed by them in the report. Especially when they categorised it as LEGAL. I told her it is so not logic when I get the statement every month saying that I've OVERPAID by 10sen, it is listed as Legal case. Stupid isn't it? This time, she asked me to wait for a few minutes while she check with her officer.

She came back and said that the officer in-charge of the closed account/BNM report has resigned and she can't check. What the @#&%? She had the guts to ask me to go back home and they will check and send me the confirmation that everything has been settled. She also wanted to see the statement I received and demanded me to bring it over.

I was so damn angry. I took a deep breath. My voice was trembling as I wanted to hold my anger. I looked up at her and said,
" Just put yourself in my shoes. I'm trying to apply a home loan and it was rejected due to this, this report. Which it is supposed to be solved a year ago.I came all the way to your HQ here, to solve this. I do not care. I am not going back home to wait. This is your bank's mistake. I will wait here for the letter even if I have to take 1 day leave from work. You better give me the letter today and clear my name off the report".

I picked up my documents from the counter and sat at the waiting area and took out my MP4 to cool myself down by listening to some songs. I was thinking it might take her half a day to do it. so I called my office to inform that I might be taking 1/2 day leave.

Then 5 mnts later, as I was about to plan how to 'mengamuk' at them , the girl came out and called my name. I was planning to tell her, if she can't help me, then get the girl next to her to help as all the while, the girl was playing solitaire at the front counter!!

She asked me to sign an acknowledgement of receipt. It was for THE letter I've asked for. After all that she said that my record is not in the system anymore, she can't find it and asked me to go back, or asked me to bring the statement, the letter is finally prepared! And it was only 5 mnts. She didn't explain to me what happened but she told the 'solitaire' expert girl who was confused, saying that she managed to get my record in the system from my new ic.

I really think that the bank makes themselves look stupid. Seriously.

I then looked at my watch, it was only 10.45am, I decided to drive to Bank M's HQ next . I got to settle the issues.....

Anger lead to crazy doings -Pt 1

Today morning, I went all the way to BNM to find out one thing - why is bank A still blacklisting me when I have settled all outstanding nearly 1 1/2 years ago. Alhamdulillah, even though I left Shah Al*m at 9.00am, the traffic was really good along the Federal Highway until I entered BNM's compound.

LINK , is what they called their customer service centre, was a nice, cosy, quiet, easy to fall asleep place. It was really peaceful, as you wait for your name to be called to check your credit thingy. Unfortunately, when I went to the counter, the person who attended to me was not helpful, not friendly, arrogant - I could say that she has no customer service manners at all. At all. She didn't explain to me properly and expected me to read the 'guide' provided with the report. When I asked a question, she immediately gave an answer which obviously shows that she was not happy to answer it.

The 2nd thing which made me upset when I was explained about the report- it was not Bank A which black listed me. It was bank M and AM. It didn't cross my mind at all that these 2 banks are giving me problems. As for Bank M, I have settled everything 1 1/2 years ago and I even have the release letter and was promised that it will be cleared right after that. While in the case of Bank AM, they are still sending me statements which shows that they are owing me 10sen and the latest statement I received was just yesterday! I have cancelled the card 1 1/2 years ago too and when everytime I called their call centre to complaint about the statement which I still received up todate, I was informed that I could just ignore it as the card has been cancelled!

And there I was, waiting to explode when I found out that these 2 banks were the culprit.

I was too angry to calm down and think - I decided to drive to the 1st bank branch in Jln Y*p Kwan Seng. Frankly, I don't know the way as I have never been to the area. But I just decided to drive there to settle this once and for all.....

Oh no!

Picture from Tykes

I was really hoping that 2008 would be a good year.

Unfortunately, the 2nd day itself has seen me shed some tears and my heart hurts.

I received bad news from 2 parties.

I can only for hope for the best from the rest now.
